Personality & History
† Sandy Freedom was an amazing stallion with the sweetest heart. He was so calm and easy to ride. Kirsten had used Sandy as her main stud and breezing partner. She used him to school as her race horses as yearlings and even the older ones when they were misbehaving. He loved trail rides and Kirsten enjoyed riding him on the trails for some good fresh air and a break from the stress of running her business. Sandy Freedom was bought in a clearance auction in Westleep City along with many other horses. Kirsten had loved the light chestnut color of the stallion and his calm personality. Sandy Freedom had a few foals that Kirsten was not aware of and some that she was aware of and had died. The one foal of his that she had kept however was Sand Storm. A foal that had been stolen as a yearling and only returned halfway through his three year old season. Sand Storm had been in Dubai, taken by criminals who were planning on using him to breed foals, using false bloodlines. Shortly after Sand Storm had been stolen Sandy Freedom perished in a horrible barn fire at Sunshine Paradise Farm. He had been the only victim but it had still forced Kirsten to change locations and rename her farm. Sandy Freedom will always be remembered as the gentle stallion he was and is often remembered by the personality of his son: Sand Storm. |
